The Akron Racers Foundation, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing numerous activities for area amateur and youth fastpitch softball teams. Its mission is to provide a comprehensive "Grassroots to the Pros" program. Not only does it host and conduct many leagues and clinics for youth and amateurs; it also owns and operates the Akron Racers, a member of the six-team National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) league.
