Targeted Hiring Salary: $37,265 - $50,308
Full-time, 180-day contract position with direct responsibility in teaching 16-20 contact hours of core Respiratory Care courses per semester. Additional duties will include: maintaining 10 office hours per week, advising, student recruitment, remediation, open lab instruction, independent studies, remediation, maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory, updating curriculum to meet accreditation standards, curriculum development, course assessments, and other duties as assigned. Professional development and community and College service are required.
Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or a bachelor's degree in a closely related field with an associate's degree in respiratory care.
Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in respiratory care, of which 3 years must be in intensive care. Prior teaching experience is preferred in classroom or clinical instruction.
Licensure or Certification Requirements:
1. Registered Respiratory Therapist
2. Licensed in the State of Ohio as a Respiratory Care Practioner
BLS and ACLS certifications are required. NRP and PALS certifications are preferred.
