Our client is a mid sized custom developer of mobile applications. They are growing rapidly and have 6+ locations throughout the US and Canada. They are currently seeking an individual with proven recruiting experience to help manage much of their internal recruiting process as well as implement a campus recruiting program.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will provide daily support to the Talent Team ensuring that our client is positioned to attract, recruit and retain the best talent, both internally and externally. The TAS is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of our client. The successful candidate should be highly organized, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice, and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance between business needs and serving our team members. This position will manage the coordination and logistics of the assigned recruiting team as well as manage the recruiting life cycle. Successfully source, screen, and facilitate the internal evaluation, selection, and attraction of qualified candidates.
Identify new avenues to attract talent; including networking through industry contacts, association memberships, past candidates and current employees.
Coordinate on-campus recruiting activities, working directly with school career center.
Assist with drafting and sending candidate related correspondence, including but not limited to interview confirmations.
Assist Talent Team by completing various activities that may include scheduling of candidate interviews, and updating and maintaining all appropriate actions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Maintain ATS templates, documents, tasks, assignments, etc.
Open and maintain requisitions as needed following company protocol and approval process.
Collect and compile data as requested from a variety of sources for appropriate reports and analysis.
Ensure all new hire tasks and documentation are completed in a timely manner based on due date (including internal tasks). On-board all candidates with fully executed/accepted offers to Active Employee in ATS.
Coordinate post-interview debrief meetings and provide debrief materials.
Provide updates to candidates regarding their applicant/interview status as needed.
Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
Develop strong client and partner relationships (hiring managers, HRBPs, Recruiters) and maintain effective communication channels.
Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as need.
Previous experience as a recruiting coordinator / campus recruiter
Excellent communication, organization, and talent assessment skills.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work from multiple clients in a high volume recruiting environment requiring attention to detail. Must be able to take initiative, and perform effectively in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
Ability to work autonomously and exhibit a professional demeanor to internal and external clients.
Ability to work well in a team environment and take constructive criticism, coaching and feedback on a consistent basis.
Experience working across a highly matrixed, multi-location organization.
Extremely focused on superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Apps experience.
2-3 years working in a recruiting function in a fast growing company required.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
Familiarity with using a Mac and Google products (Mail, Calendar and Docs)
