•    Oversees and monitors Lab Technicians.
•    Assures that equipment is calibrated and running properly, and associates are trained and certified in proper use.
    
Other Responsibilities:
•    Prepares reports to communicate the results of quality assurance activities.
•    Coordinates sample preparation and shipping to Frito Lay Quality Teams, and all others as needed.
•    Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product.

    Essential Requirements
Four-year degree in food science, science or business majors with significant college level math and science courses.

3 - 5 years of practical experience in a related field within the food industry.

Qualifications:

•    Maintains responsibility for the implementation of and adherence to the corporate safety program for the respective shift.
•    Maintains responsibility for overall security and general welfare of the plant during the respective shift.
•    Maintains responsibility for associate complaint resolution and the implementation of and adherence to the corporate progressive disciplinary program for the respective shift.
