Biomedical Sales Engineer
ADInstruments is seeking a personable, highly motivated biomedical engineer who will help us increase our established market share in North America. As a sales engineer you will pursue sales and marketing opportunities while maintaining your client base. You will be expected to pursue incoming sales leads, answer inquiries, demonstrate ADInstruments products, and provide training and support for existing customers.
Since ADInstruments' equipment and software is used for many advanced research applications our sales engineers must be comfortable discussing our products at a technical level with scientists, engineers and physicians and conceive its application in a research laboratory. Overnight travel is required (40-50%). This is an excellent opportunity for an independent, enthusiastic person looking for a position with a small, progressive company and unlimited income potential.
Requirements:
· A bachelor’s degree in Biologic Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or Bioengineering
· Minimum GPA required: 3.5
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
· Highly computer literate
· Familiarity with electronics and scientific/biomedical laboratory equipment
· Laboratory research experience is strongly preferred
· Coursework or demonstrated experience in life science fields such as physiology and neurobiology is strongly preferred.
