We have been using www.akronworks.com for over
a month and have seen solid results. For a third of the cost
of running a one day ad in the newspaper we can have an ad posted
for 30 days. Akronworks puts the initiative back into the applicants
hands to research the company and position. It also guarantees
that the applicant has some basic computer and navigation skills.
One of the best benefits is that as an employer you can re-vamp
your ad at will; therefore, you can change your qualifications
or tag lines without going through a third party. Since our
posting the number of applications have increased on a weekly
basis. We have been very pleased with the response we have received
in such a short time frame.

It works! We ran a job ad on Akronworks.com for
a position that we have been trying to fill for months and finally
found the right person when we advertised through your web site.
It was a very difficult position to fill because they needed
to have the right background with a unique set of skills required
for the position. It just so happened that the person we hired
was listening to WONE while driving through Akron on his way
to visit family when he heard an advertisement for Akronworks.com
on the radio. When he got home later that day, he went onto
the site, found our position and sent his resume. He's been
here for over a month now and has already made an impact in
the area that we hired him for. Thank you!

As an avid listener of WONE I want to thank you for having
a link for Akronworks.com. I have been out of work since Jan.2nd,
and on Monday February 23, I was listening to Tim and Tracey
talking about the up coming concert, I went to WONE web site
looking for more information about the concert. I then went
to the employment link and checked out what postings were
available on AkronWorks.com. I found one that suited me and
applied for it. At 4:30 PM that afternoon, I received a call
from that company about an interview. I went and then went
back again today. I start work for the company on Monday,
March 1st. I know this is a round about way of telling you,
but thank you for having that job link on the web site. Without
that, I wouldn't of gotten the position. It was perfect timing.
I now have a job with a really great company that just moved
to the Akron area. Thank you!
