  • Work with Life Enhancement Manager in creating innovative programming for residents in Independent living on a monthly basis
  • Implement programs and trips out in Independent living
  • Create and input monthly events onto CATIE system
  • Work with Life Enhancement Manager in maintaining budget
  • Room set-ups as necessary
  • Schedule rooms as needed
  • Order tickets as needed
  • Completes billing of tickets ordered
  • Attend monthly Life Enhancement Committee meetings
  • Create trip sign up on the CATIE System
  • Create informational flyers/posters on the CATIE system
  • Sets up audio-visual equipment for group use using Bluetooth, streaming & Extron Systems
  • Film events as needed
  • Performance of other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate
  • Assist as needed with programming in Greenwood
  • Other duties, as assigned


Educational Requirements:

  • Must possess BS degree in related field such as Gerontology, etc.

Licensure, Certification and Registration:

  • CPR
  • First Aid

Work Orientation and Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in a senior setting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good communication skills; must be able to demonstrate effective reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills
  • Must be a detailed oriented person and be able to perform duties with great accuracy each day
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Publisher
  • Competent in Social Media (Zoom, FaceTime, etc.)
  • Competent in IOS & Android systems
  • Must be able to interface with people at all levels and with residents at all levels in a      positive and professional manner
  • Basic understanding of disease process and the aging process of the elderly
  • Ability to work in a group setting or with individuals

Other Requirements Specific to Assigned Area:

  • Knowledge of proper body mechanics
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
